Using Donor Recognition in Capital Campaigns

Posted March 6th, 2010 by admin

It is easy to conduct capital campaigns which use donor recognition.  With this capital campaign type, nonprofit groups are seeking pledge of certain contribution amount. In return, they will be offered to provide specific recognition to them.  Certain amounts of donation are rewarded with levels of recognition.  The donation can actually be a one-time gift, monthly withdrawal, periodic donation or an annual check.

There are many recognition products that are available in variety of prices. They offer a way for the organization to thank its donors for the support that they have provided in a way that has high quality.

For a very personalized recognition, one may consider to offer cast bronze plaques which highlight the contribution of an individual to a specific project.  They may also offer smaller individual photo plaques which greatly provide more space for customizing the message.

The engraved personalized bricks are a great way to provide capital campaign contributions with an inexpensive recognition.  One method that is attractive to use is the use of brick paves with messages that are engraved via laser in a sidewalk or in some special entryway.  Another great way to display donor bricks is to design an attractive landscaping display. This will also strengthen your group’s tie.
